The New Years Eve Bar Cart

New Year's Eve is almost here and that means cocktails a plenty.  I love having friends over for a swish drink or two to celebrate the big count down and my go to trick is a bar cart.  It's a simple way to wheel in some party cheer and it's easier than you think to get this look.

First up the bar cart itself - There are so many good vintage options around on eBay or visit Society Social if you fancy splashing a little bit of cash. Next step is stocking your bar cart.  Wine or spirits are a must but rather than popping everything out on display, I like to keep it curated and limit ingredients to that of a special drink or two.  Now its time to search out for interesting glassware or serving accompaniments that will add a bit of fun - scout out your local salvo's for vintage glasses or a silver tray that is to die for.  Always incorporate a fresh element or two like a bowl of lemons, a cup of mint or a small vase of flowers.  Now to top it off in the pretty stakes - Think about a decorative element like a brass ornament, a candle or a casual piece of framed art leaning behind - anything that is going to add a bit of pizzaz.  And there you have it!  Now its time to get serving and get the Christmas party started!
